A Family Centered Preventative Approach to
Substance Use Problems with Dr. James Hudziak.

Dr. Hudziak will present a strategy that addresses substance use problems through health promotion and prevention that should lead to lower rates of substance abuse and criminal behavior (and other negative health outcomes).

Known internationally for his work in the psychiatric genetics of child and adolescent behavior, Dr. Hudziak is the Director of the VCCYF at Fletcher Allen Health Care and University of Vermont’s College of Medicine and Professor of Psychiatry, Medicine, and Pediatrics at UVM.

This community forum is brought to you by the Ottauquechee Health Foundation in partnership with the Norman Williams Public Library in our efforts to educate the community about the issues surrounding substance abuse and our interest in community health.
