5K run and 1 mile kids' run/family walk begin and end at the Williamstown Youth Center, 66 School Street.
Sign-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the race. On-line registration is available at www.WilliamstownCommunityChest.org. Fees are $15/runner for the 5K and $5/participant for 1-mile Walk/Run; children age 5 and under may participate at no charge. The first 75 paid registrants will receive a Fun Run t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in both races. Scholarships are available, made possible by underwriting from MountainOne.
Attendees are also invited to contribute a personal care item for the local veterans' services pantry. Items requested include soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, combs, laundry detergent, men's socks, bandaids, and washcloths.
