The Charlotte Covered Bride 5K 10K and Half Marathon is tomorrow Saturday, September 11. Do to weather conditions the event will be hosted at Shelburne Beach…Originally it was to be held at Shelburne Orchards. Thanks to Betsy and Sue at Shelburne Recreation Department for agreeing to have the race at the beach. Set up at the Shelburne Beach will be starting at 6:15AM and the race will be totally complete by 12:30 PM. Shelburne Police and the Shelburne/ Charlotte Rotary will be on hand helping with parking and road marshaling.

The running route is…Beach Rd/ Bostwick Rd/ Orchard Rd/ Lake Rd.

Please note that in respect of Covid precautions runners will be doing a time trial fashion. (3 second intervals, fastest runners to slowest). NO mass start. Unvaccinated runners are required to wear their mask at the start and finish..
Also, they are encouraged to put their masks on if they are going to pass somebody.
