Reading and Reflection

Come Join Us As We Learn

For the past year or so, interested members of the Community Senior Center have gathered in a virtual, online Reading and Reflection Group centered around social justice activism issues. We are starting up again for the fall and welcome community members (of any age) to consider joining us. The group meets biweekly (Tuesdays, 6:30 to 7:30) and is facilitated by Jess Handrik. Jess has lived in Bolton since 2017; she has a 20+ year background in arts education and adult education. Jess stresses that she is not an expert in these issues, but that she has a desire to learn.
We will have a loaner copy of each book available for home delivery by Jess, and we'll keep our local libraries and independent bookstores looped in as well. The first section is Emergent Strategy by adrienne maree brown.
