The Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum's Red Bench Speaker Series is back! Join us virtually tonight (Thursday) at 7pm for the first event of the season.
Kicking off the season is extreme skier and author Dan Egan and co-author Eric Wilbur. They'll be discussing the process of writing their recent book, 'Thirty Years in a White Haze, Dan Egan's Story of Worldwide Adventure and the Evolution of Extreme Skiing.'
Dan and his brother John, a couple of kids from New England have traveled some of the world's most remote regions, searching for and finding the extreme limits of the sport. In 'Thirty Years in a White Haze', Dan, a true storyteller, tells his story of the evolution of extreme skiing amidst history, family, and adventure.
Dan will handpick stories from the book to discuss and share a few that didn't make the cut. We're delighted to welcome Dan and Eric to the Red Bench and can't think of a better way to get us all stoked for the upcoming ski season.
