Join us to celebrate the new Poetry Walk in the Park at 311 North Avenue. The walk features the works of Indigenous and Black poets who have created poetry around the theme, "the intersection of healing, nature and revolution."
Sunday's launch will include readings by several of the poets featured in the walk. One of the poets present, Harmony Edosowman, will also be showcasing their cooking from Harmony's Kitchen. Food is free.
Local artist phenom, Eliza Phillips will be one site working on a community/interactive activity with the mural piece she is creating at the park.
Jake McBride of the Vermont Releaf Collective will be our emcee for the program portion of the event.
