This year marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that happened on September 11th. The granite monument in front of Underhill Jericho Fire Station in Underhill reminds us of that day and the commitment we made to never forget by sounding the siren every September 11th. The Underhill Jericho Fire Department welcomes you to join our firefighters and EMS responders in a small ceremony this Saturday.

The UJFD will commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11th with a ceremony at 900 starting at 8:00 AM. We will read the names of the 343 fallen New York City fire department members, with two pauses to sound the siren. The public is welcome to attend this event.
