Hello astronomers!

This has been a particularly challenging summer weather-wise, but Saturday looks quite promising! So, we are going to open up the observatory and grounds for a late summer star party!

We'll have things set up on Saturday, September 11, 2021 starting at 8:30 PM (it's nice to have darkness coming earlier at this time of year!)

It gets chilly at night - dress for 20 degrees cooler than the thermometer says. We have driveway lights, so please DON'T bring a flashlight - we want to preserve night vision!

Park in the Peacham school parking lot and walk up the hill!
