Kicking off Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum's Virtual Red Bench Series this season is extreme skier and author Dan Egan. Tonight (Thursday) at 7:00pm Dan and co-author Eric Wilbur, will be discussing their recent book, 'Thirty Years in a White Haze, Dan Egan's Story of Worldwide Adventure and the Evolution of Extreme Skiing.'

Dan and his brother John, a couple of kids from New England have traveled some of the world's most remote regions, searching for and finding the extreme limits of the sport. In 'Thirty Years in a White Haze', Dan, a true storyteller, tells his story of the evolution of extreme skiing amidst history, family, and adventure. Dan will handpick stories from the book to discuss and share a few that didn't make the cut.
