The Emmons Island Haunted Trail (Food Drive)

Past event
Oct 9, 2021, 4:30 to 10 PM

Hello my fellow neighbors, it is that time of year again 🙂 Due to covid we unfortunately had to cancel last year's event - but this year looks like we will be able to run the event safely. If you plan to attend, we are not requiring masks, but you are welcome to wear one if you like. We are asking people to be safe and follow a 6 foot distance between people who did not come together.

As always, we encourage you to wear Halloween costumes, including Halloween masks. As some may know our parking lot is a bit limited within the venue, we are asking that people car pool as much as possible (Yes, I realize this is not the best solution during a pandemic.) If the parking lot becomes full we will have to close down the road, this means your group might need to drive around for a bit for the lot to clear. The busiest time for our lot is usually 615 pm to 730 pm. In the past people have parked over at Donaldson Rd, and walked down to the event. if you do this please be safe, use a flash light, and try to stay off the road as much as possible. We have also had people park right on Rt 2. We do not encourage this, but we cannot stop you. If you do park on Rt 2, please pull as far off the road as possible and be safe.

We are still looking for volunteers for the night of the event: we need people to help with parking, we need people willing to work in our photo area, and we need people willing to dress up to scare people on the trail. If you and a few friends who enjoy the Halloween season and want to work together in one of our many scary areas, we can make that happen. Please contact us on our Facebook Page: Emmons Island Haunted Trail or my email: matthew.emmons@ymail.com

The Emmons Island Haunted Trail: This terrifying trail raises money to feed the souls of...families in the local community. A ticket is $10, but a donation of 7 non-perishable food items will suffice. This event will be held on October 9th 2021, from 6:30pm to 10 pm. Though the main event is not suitable for younger children, a children's walk will be held from 4:30pm to 6pm, free of charge.
