The Friends of the Winooski are looking for volunteers to help clean up the Stevens Branch. 3 sites along the river have been selected for ease of access, but they need participation from community members:

- SITE CAPTAINS: lead a cleanup team to tackle one section of river
- BUCKETS: donate 5-gallon buckets for collecting junk
- CANOES: lend your old boat for the day to help move junk
- VOLUNTEERS: Meet at City Hall Park. Dress to wade in the river and pick up muddy old stuff. Bring water, gloves, and a sense of humor.

City Staff will be removing the trash collected by volunteers.
