October 3, 9:00 am. Come to Waterbury and join the Central Vermont Runners in October to experience the best of fall running in Vermont. Sign up and run the "LEAF PEEPERS" half marathon or 5K - our largest and most exciting event! Both courses begin and end at the State office complex in Waterbury. The half marathon follows the original out and back course along River Road in Duxbury, while the 5K is a loop that includes a section of the Cross Vermont Trail.
