The city has finished resurfacing and remarking the tennis courts on Pine Street at Landry Park and 4 pickleball courts have been added. The pickleball nets have finally arrived and everything is set to go. Pickleball is really a lot of fun and anyone can play, all ages and genders. I would like to meet a group of people who would like to play. No experience is necessary. I suggest that anyone who wants to play please meet at Landry field on Tuesday (Sept. 07) at 6:00pm at the courts. This way we can judge interest and perhaps make a regular schedule of playing. If you've never played before, there are some wonderful videos on YouTube about playing pickleball that go over the basics and rules. I have 4 paddles that we can use and I can also offer some instruction on the game. Hope to see you there.
