Cancer Canknot Golf Classic. In December 2011 my husband was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma brain cancer. As we were leaving the physician's office the day he was given a prognosis of 6-12 months, his doctor said "fight like hell"...and that's exactly what he did. Defying all odds, Eric has far surpassed any predictors of outcomes for a disease like brain cancer. Knowing that he could not have survived this long without advanced research, we knew we had to pay it forward - which is why we started the Cancer Canknot Golf Classic a few years ago and have donated over $50k to cancer research.
