The 25th Annual CHAMP Benefit Trail Ride
Saturday, September 11, 2021
South Hero, VT

This is *CHAMP's only major fundraising event this year. It supports the incredible horses that take such good care of our special riders. Our therapeutic riding program was closed due to COVID 19 in March 2020. Fortunately, in June 2021 we safely, gradually reopened the program. You can help sustain us and participate in this wonderful event in three ways:

1. PARTICPATE! Raise $150 to ride your horse through gorgeous fields and wooded trails in South Hero, splash in Lake Champlain and enjoy a picnic lunch. Registration forms are at https://www.vtchamp.org/events.

2. BE A SPONSOR! Donate to support your favorite trail rider(s), or just because you love CHAMP. You may use a credit card via PayPal at https://www.vtchamp.org/get-involved, send us a check (CHAMP, 57 East Shore Rd, South Hero, VT 05486), or on Venmo.

3. Volunteer! Bring a salad or dessert for the lunch, serve as a road guard at trail crossings, or hold horses while riders take a break for lunch. A picnic lunch is served in a large field slightly north of Eagle Camp on West shore Road. To volunteer, contact Jean Desranleau, Executive Director at 802.233.4893.

See you there! Thank you for helping "CHANGE LIVES ONE RIDE at a TIME"!

Please Note! The Trail Ride begins at CHAMP on East Shore Rd at 10:00 am and ends at CHAMP at approximately 4:00 pm.

Horses and riders will be crossing some public roads in South Hero. Please travel with caution when driving, biking, walking or running near any trail crossing areas. The trail ride crossings will be marked with bright signs. Crossings will occur on South Street near the intersection of West Shore Road; along West Shore Rd near the Rail Trail; the intersection of Tracy Rd and Station Rd; Sunset View Rd near Camp Ta-Kum-Ta and on West Shore Rd north of Eagle Camp. Thank you for your extra care!

*CHAMP is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer-driven, accredited, therapeutic riding center providing year-round horse-assisted activities and therapy with dignity and respect for all.
