Compass Center is offering a Music and Art Class for Homeschoolers, twice a month on Thursdays from 10-12.

Kim Hewitt educator, author and piano teacher is starting Music and Art workshops for kids interested in exploring, creating and learning more about art and music.

The sessions will be 2 hours
from 10:00-12:00 on Thursdays at Compass Music and Art.

One hour will be spent on Art and one on Music.

Activities will include: sketch book dares, birch bark poetry, create your own creature, collages, up-scale art, write your own song to sing or play, how to keep a beat, jamming, piano lesson, and more.
The emphasis will be on building self-esteem and bringing out each child's own creative abilities and strengths.
Cost: $75 per student for 10 sessions (2 hours each).
