The Barre Historical Society invites you to celebrate Barre's Ambrosini family on Labor Day, September 6 at Barre's Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite Street with an open house from 2-5. The long-time Barre family has included two of the city's leading granite sculptors, Angelo P. and Angelo L. Ambrosini. Barre mayor Lucas Herring will present a proclamation declaring the day Ambrosini Day at 3. The Barre Historical Society will also dedicate the newly renovated green room as the Ambrosini Room. The open house will include antipasti and pasta frolla, a display of Ambrosini sculptures, music by the Labor Hall Trio, and activities for children.
The event is free and open to the public. /The Barre Historical Society requests that anyone entering the Hall be vaccinated against Covid-19 and requires masking and social distancing/
