On Saturday, September 4th, 10-4 at
EAHM/VT Indigenous Heritage Center in Burlington, VT

Alnôbaiwi will celebrate the Green Corn Ceremony at their village near the Ethan Allen Homestead. Abenakis will be doing their traditional dancing, singing and drumming to mark the ripening of the corn crop. Expect other activities as we recreate a pre 1840 atmosphere. Crafting, cooking, atlatls, archery, musketry, cannon fire as well as a trader's tent with unique sale items are planned. We have a great museum display of genuine ancient Abenaki artifacts as well as some artisanry and our gardens are doing well. A guided tour is available.
