Attention Farmers, Farm Workers and Policy Makers!

ACORN is working with Rural Vermont to host the 4th Annual "State House to Farmhouse" which takes place on farms all around Vermont. The Addison County event is scheduled for next Friday, Sep. 10 from 1PM to 4PM at Full Belly Farm, located in Monkton.

"State House to Farmhouse" brings together the ag community and policy-makers for farm tours and lightly facilitated, farmer-directed dialogue about the issues and concerns that farmers face, and their hopes and ideas about the future of agriculture. The events serve to educate legislators about the ag community's needs and concerns, so they can better represent their constituents, while providing an opportunity for relationship-building between farmers and policy-makers.

Please note that this event is designed for farmers, farmworkers, and policymakers. If you don't identify with one of these categories, we respectfully ask that you make space for these important connections between the ag community and policymakers.
