Poetry Reading at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library

Past event
May 10, 2014, 1 to 3 PM

Coming of Age, a collection of poetry by Ann Marie Meltzer of Greenfield, MA, explores the joys and challenges of aging. Recently released, the 112-page book is illustrated with watercolors by Ann Linde of Underhill.

Ann Marie will read from her book at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library from 1pm to 3:00pm, this Saturday, May 10th. Refreshments will be provided.

"Ann Marie's poetry is at once a doorway and a mirror," writes Paula J. Botch of the Barnestormers writers' group. "With plain-spoken words, she treats us to tales of life's moments, common to most and unnoticed by many, though they are a constant dance of creative meditation for her. With a sense of joy and the wisdom of age, Ann Marie gently points toward what's next, the art of letting go, and ultimately our own mortality."
