Jericho Farmers Market - Kids Programming!

Past event
Sep 2, 2021, 3 to 6:30 PM

As we turn the calendar to September we find it hard to believe that this is our last full month of market days! The cooler weather is approaching which, after the last couple of weeks, is a welcome thought.

Did you know that our kids programming for ages 6-12 continues into the school year? Our Power of Produce (PoP) Club lets kids interact with our farmers, learn about veggies and even do their own shopping by earning POP Bucks which they can spend on their very own fruits and veggies. Research show that choice is a major factor in encouraging varied eating in kids, and POP Club enables them to do just that!

In addition to lovely weather & kids programming, the Farmers Market has weekly music for you to enjoy. This week's music is from Adrianna Chobot, who grew up right here in Jericho! She started writing songs in high school in Vermont. Performing experimentally at a liberal Canadian college, her music continues to develop through the convergence of various musicians and those rare times when it's raining and the sun is shining at the same time. Visit www.andrianachobot.com for news and music previews.
