What does your song sound like?

Come read some Stories in the Park with Maya and the Rochester Public Library this Friday! Books on hand will be about music: instruments, songs, the music which surrounds us! Then dive into the week's craft, making your own musical instrument! Will it be a colorful, loud horn? Some uniquely decorated sticks to bang with? Maybe a shaker...or something of your own invention! Then we can play our instruments and make our own grand sound!

All children under 10 are invited to meet at the gazebo during Rochester's marvelous Farmers' Market from 3:30 until 4:30. Drop in anytime during the hour and stay as long as you like. Stories and music will happen throughout the hour!

Friday reading at the market will continue through October...hooray for lots more reading fun!

Library books will be available to check out.
