If you caught the Tie One On Community Art Project at People's Pride ( and even if you didn't)- you're in for a treat! Wravenwood Studios is bringing the Tie Your Pride On Community Art and Connection Project to Burlington's Pride Festival on Sept 5, 2021 at Battery Park. This time we're also bringing cameras to capture the art in time lapse for a documentary, and we want to include queer stories!
The goal of the documentary is to evoke the same mesmerizing frequency of the art coming together at a live event along with the sheer overwhelm of how many of us EXIST ... and how beautiful we all are individually, especially when we come together in the living, breathing work of art that is our community.
Each of the first 1,000 participants will receive a complimentary, handmade rainbow paracord heart bracelet. When worn in the community, these bracelets become a symbol of a connection through the art piece and make our unseen connections visible. Because "what wires together, fires together" and because we're hoping to create lots of happy brain chemicals with you, the bracelets can become a tangible reminder of connection with our community when we need it.
We are committed to including the name of EVERY participant (who chooses to be named) in the film credits. There's LOTS of ways to get involved to get your bracelet! Click through to the Event Discussion to find out more: https://www.facebook.com/events/1016036645809917/
