Bring your ukes, bring your voices, bring your ears and most of all your wonderful open spirits to the Waterbury Public Library Garden this Sunday, August 29th for a LIVE UKULELE SHENANIGAN with Clare Innes, aka "Ukulele Clare." Clare has been playing the ukulele and teaching for over two decades and absolutely loves the instrument! We are so happy to be meeting with her in person.

This event, sponsored by the Waterbury Library, is open to all whether you play the ukulele or not; you are invited to bring a chair or blanket and play or listen to some great tunes from Old Timey tunes to country to pop, Clare has something for everyone. To download her song-packet go to www.ukuleleclare.com If you are in need of a ukulele, call the library at 244-7036 to reserve yours now. The event, which will be held from 2-3:30, will take place rain or shine. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will meet in the Community Steele Room at that time.
