What actions can we as a community take to reduce or reverse the natural disasters that are ahead because of climate change?
A dozen people met recently to think about what steps need to be included in our Local Hazard Mitigation Plan to address these issues. We have a partial draft and are ready to share the thinking behind it. We will also explain what more has to be done to get a revised plan in place to help our town access FEMA funding in the event of future disasters.
The progress report meeting, will be held Monday, August 30, 6:30 – 8:00 PM in person at Rockingham Town Hall, Third Floor Conference Room or on Zoom.
