Join this fun day of community celebration and connection to our beloved Lake Champlain and the waters that feed her!
Choose an activity of paddling a canoe up river, exploring natural science on nature trails, or participating in a guided activity to create written or visual art based on your observations (bring your own supplies). Educational and spiritual activities will be guided by faith leaders, field naturalists, educators, artists, and other talented souls.
Registration is at 8:30 AM. We'll gather at 8:45 AM for an orientation to the LaPlatte Watershed and opening circle of introductions & invocations.
- $8 per person (we are happy to waive fee if you are unable to pay; children under 12 years old are free); $25 per group (4 people)
- Open to the public and boats are provided. No private crafts please.
- Participants are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and gather after the Closing Ceremony.
