The 12th annual Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin Festival is one month away so there is plenty of time to get into your workshop and build a trebuchet (gravity-powered catapult) to compete. The festival/competition is open to all ages. Only $10 to spectate or compete, but you can get in for free if you enter the Chili Cookoff contest by preparing 2 gallons of your best chili. All proceeds from the festival go to benefit the Clarina Howard Nichols Center in Morrisville which has been doing awesome work to end domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County.
Specifications, rules and entry information can be found at www.vtpumpkinchuckin.blogspot.com or contact the organizer, Dave Jordan at DJordan@gmavt.net
