Each week Stowe Vibrancy invites nationally acclaimed guest artists, and this week we're thrilled to welcome Marty Fogel on saxophone! Marty Fogel is one of the elder statesmen on the Vermont jazz scene. His storied career has taken him to the outer limits of free jazz, genre-bending with the Everyman Orchestra, solo excursions and straight-ahead jazz, and a 5-year stint with rock legend Lou Reed. Marty regularly teams up with local heavies Ray Vega and Tom Cleary and keeps things fresh with his Mixed Bag Quartet and Freedom Trio.
Our Grand Finale for the Main Street Live Series next week, September 2nd, will be with Bill Pierce of the Jazz Messengers.
