The Sky Blue Boys & Cookie will appear in concert at the Plainfield Rec Field at 5 PM this Sunday, August 29. Admission is by donation, with proceeds benefiting the Plainfield Opera House. The trio of Banjo Dan and Willy Lindner and Carrie Cook will deliver a fun-filled program of acoustic folk music with shades of jugband, jazz and bluegrass and a sprinkling of original songs.
