We are a discussion group of people researching their family history in relation to slavery. If you have identified ancestors who were slave-holders/enslavers or whose ancestors were enslaved, we invite you to join us. At our monthly meetings, we share research experiences and discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult, long-hidden truths. Each meeting includes an education section and a discussion about how our research connects to and supports the struggle for racial justice.
The next monthly meeting is Thursday, August 26 from 6-8 pm via Zoom.
