Show the Long Trail some Love - Long Trail Day (August 28)

The Green Mountain Club is asking for our help to care for the trails! They are the folks out there ensuring our beloved Long Trail System is maintained for our adventures every year. It takes hundreds of volunteers and paid professional trail crews to do this work, so this year they are holding a summer fundraiser to support the work that goes into caring for the Long Trail.

You can help in two ways: donate, or register to raise $272 from friends and family. That's $1 for each mile of the trail! If you've used the Long Trail, or any of the trails that GMC manages, such as the ones going up to Camel's Hump, I hope that you'll be able to give back to the trails that give us so much.
