The Police Commission will hold its regular meeting on August 24, 2021 at Contois Auditorium beginning at 6pm.
The Commission is continuing its education efforts, this month inviting State's Attorney Sarah George to talk about alternatives to arrest. There is a time-certain start to her remarks to begin at 620pm.
A presentation by Neil Gross, a professor of sociology at Colby College in Maine, and a former police officer, will follow. He recently wrote an op-ed for the New York Times on police reform that you may find of interest to read:
