Burlington Sunrise Rotary & The Rotary Club of Burlington are planning our "second inaugural" Executive Spelling Bee fundraiser after postponing our 2020 edition, and we're recruiting Vermont's business community for an evening of food, fun and festivities. The evening will include food & drink, plus trivia followed by a feature spelling bee with Vermont leaders competing in small teams for the thrill of victory and priceless bragging rights. The winning team will enjoy the glory, but the ultimate winner will be the beneficiary of this fundraiser: The Imagination Library.

The Imagination Library, started by Dolly Parton, is a national reading program that promotes early childhood literacy. It sends a free monthly book to an enrolled child until they're six. If a parent enrolls their child at birth, that's 72 free books over the course of their early years! Anyone in Burlington is eligible to sign up and it's free to families since our Rotary club pays for the program. We hope to sign up more families, thus providing more books to local children; this fundraiser is an effort to expand this already successful program! 100% of registration fees for teams and the entry cost for audience members will go directly to books for Burlington kids.
