All are invited to the annual "Not Back to School" Homeschool Picnic at Oakledge Park in Burlington, on Wednesday, August 25, from 10–1 (drop in anytime, with a welcoming circle at 11 a.m.). We will meet at the playground just past the first shelter. This event usually draws in over 100 homeschooling kids and parents from around the area. All are welcome—past homeschoolers, community members offering services, siblings who may not have started school yet, prospective homeschoolers, etc. Spread the word, and come feel the energy of community to kick off your academic year!

Bring: your family's lunch picnic; swimsuits and sports equipment; sign up sheets for classes and field trips you'd like to offer or propose; your calendar to sign up for offerings; learning materials you are ready to pass on to others for the big free pile; and a bag to carry home the loot you pick up from others!

Please note that we will follow state guidance at that time on mask wearing!
