The Starksboro Cooperative Preschool is currently accepting applications for the 2014-15 school year. Our full day preschool program is designed to meet the preschool and childcare needs of area children, aged 3-5, and their families. We offer a half-day program option from 7:30 AM until 12:30 PM, and are open until 5:30 PM Monday through Friday for families who require extended care.

SCP is a nonprofit organization run by the parents of the attending children. Our mission is to provide a positive first school experience, and to offer a high quality, affordable childcare option for the families of Starksboro children. Our Five Star program employs two licensed teachers and a qualified, dedicated staff, that creates a rich learning environment in which children are able to interact, explore, learn, and most of all have fun. The day includes both large and small group activities with a large block of free play. We provide a nutritious breakfast and two snacks each day, incorporating outdoor play as part of our curriculum.

We will hold an Open House on May 17 from 9-11 am for all new and interested families. Meanwhile, we welcome you to come and visit, with or without your child, to see our school and observe our program in action. Please call 453-4427 to schedule an appointment.
