Long Trail Day - coming up on August 28th.

The Green Mountain Club is asking for your help to care for the trails! They are the folks out there ensuring our beloved Long Trail System is maintained for our adventures every year. It takes hundreds of volunteers and paid professional trail crews to do this work, so this year they are holding a summer fundraiser to support the work that goes into caring for the Long Trail.

You can help in two ways: donate or register to raise $272 from friends and family. That's $1 for each mile of the trail! If you've used the Long Trail, or any of the trails that GMC manages, such as the ones connecting to the Long trail or those going up to Camel's Hump, I hope that you'll be able to give back to the trails that give us so much.
