The Williston-based married duo, soprano Allison and tenor Cameron Steinmetz will sing popular tunes from 19th century America and recreate two of the iconic social dances of the period, the waltz and the polka. Accompanying the Steinmetzes will be keyboardist Artis Wodehouse, who will play on an 1864 foot-pump melodeon, a revival bentside spinet harpsichord, and the modern piano.

An avid singer and actor, Cameron Steinmetz has appeared in various operas, oratorios and musicals throughout the state of Vermont. He sings tenor in the Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Ah! Cappella educational vocal quartet, and is the Director of Music Ministry at Charlotte Congregational Church.

Described as "brilliant, nuanced, and lyrically expressive," Allison Steinmetz, soprano, spans her vocal artistry in classical, musical theater, and contemporary music. She has played leading roles in productions including The Telephone, The Marriage of Figaro, Candide, The Fantasticks, Into the Woods, Guys & Dolls, Once Upon A Mattress, The Mikado, and The King & I. Allison has shared the concert stage with The Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, the Green Mountain Mahler Festival, the Rutland Area Chorus, and the Vermont Collegiate Choral Consortium. Her ensemble experience includes performances with The Opera Company of Middlebury, Counterpoint Chorus, and the Green Mountain Monteverdi Ensemble.

Artis Wodehouse is known internationally for her performances on piano and the harmonium, and for her work in the player piano idiom. She has built a collection of historic keyboard instruments on which she actively performs.
