Learn how to build your own bench FREE with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation at the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village. Aldo Leopold was a conservationist, author and influential voice in the fields of wilderness management and environmental ethics. Leopold Benches reflect his teachings by providing a place for us to rest, listen, observe and foster a closer relationship with our ecosystem. You'll learn more about Aldo Leopold and his Land Ethic and have the opportunity to build your own bench with lumber from Willoughby State Forest.

PAINT N' SIP WITH NATALIE GUILLETTE (CHANGE OF DATE!)

Natalie Guillette, owner of Creative Buzz Paint Events, is back in person for her popular Paint N' Sip series of three classes here at the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village. To finish off this series, we have one more date this September available to paint using Sap Buckets. Refreshments from Eden Specialty Ciders and Jasper Hill Cheese will be available during each class in the series. Fun trivia based on the museum will be thrown in, so brush up on your history.
