One night, two acts featuring Melissa D Moorhouse and George Nostrand. Melissa D is a New England singer-songwriter from Vermont. Her music is relaxing with reflective lyrics that will take you on an emotional journey. She is a classically trained vocalist with a distinct voice that immediately sets her apart from the pack. Melissa D is currently a solo artist. She is passionate about animal rescue and humanitarian causes. She has been described as having "the style of Karen Carpenter with whisperings of Melissa Etheridge".
George Nostrand wandered into Rutland, VT 20 years ago wearing a beat-up green hat and carrying a well-loved guitar. Since then, he has carved out a name for himself, hosting open mic nights, booking and promoting concert series and advocating for live, local music while also writing for the Rutland Herald and Cider Mag. His music, and various band incarnations, have been compared to Todd Snider and Tom Petty, as well as early Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review. Sit back, relax and experience the coffeehouse vibe with the warm music of Americana folk/rock.
