Hello, Earth Loving people!
***Because of the summer heat, we're meeting at 10 AM***
Come join us on Saturday, August 21st at Battery Street park right by the playground towards the back of the park for an hour of trashy goodness.
This time, we want to tackle the bushes alongside the fence line. If you feel comfortable doing so, please bring closed-toe shoes and long pants. There is a lot of trash in there but we want to make sure everyone wears appropriate clothing.
For those wanting to cruise around the park, there are many places for trash to be found, especially micro-trash!
We will have some extra trash pickers and buckets, but we encourage you to bring your own trash picking set up. Don't forget some gloves!
So what do you say, come pick up trash and keep the earth clean with all of us? We thought so.
