'Battle of the Badges' Blood Drive

Past event
Sep 10, 2021, 1 to 7 PM

My name is Kay Cook, I represent the Red Cross.

I have a few of my own blood drive events in Franklin County area.

As we all know there is a critical need for blood. Having said that I spoke to my representative Brad Howort at Red Cross and shared my interest in putting some kind of event together getting our law enforcement together.

From there he suggested we do a Battle of the Badges (BOB). Naturally I said yes, I love a challenge.

The goal here is to see which department has the most donor attendance. I believe a t-shirt will be presented to you and I am also going to try to get a trophy for the team with the most attendance.

All are welcome, except law enforcement /fire department will have to show a badge saying of their status.

We have already set a date it is for September 10th from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the VFW in St Albans at the foot of Lake Street. We are going to incorporate a remembrance of 911 with this event.

So please help me make this wonderful. Each donor at this stage of our lives/day is critical.

Below I have put the link directly to the blood drive itself. You can actually schedule your appointment time anytime you are ready.

Thank you so so much ahead of time for the possibility of you joining the Battle of the Badges & also thank you for what you do on a daily basis to help our community out.
