The Craftsbury Chamber Players continue their six-week summer festival on Wednesday, August 18, at 7 PM, performing from their concert trailer in the Parking Field at 500 Cheese Factory Road, South Burlington (across from Bread and Butter Farm). Throughout the summer the concerts have explored the influence of folk traditions and popular music on chamber music. This program features music of Ernő Dohnányi, Jean-Marie Leclair, Scott Joplin, Igor Stravinsky, and Astor Piazzolla, as well as Beethoven's Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 1, No. 1 for violin, cello, and piano.
Performers are Mary Rowell and Katherine Winterstein, violins; Molly Goldman, viola; Frances Rowell, cello; and Marcantonio Barone, piano. There is no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
