You are invited - Community Tea - Deborah Rawson Library - 8 River Road - Jericho - Sunday Aug 22 - One pm - we will be gathering in the lovely gardens at the rear of the library to honor Author Thornton Burgess - Dick Squires has created a wonderful wooden sculpture - man sitting on a log reading a book - we call him Mr Burgess - we will be serving tea and light refreshments - several folks have volunteered to read selections from one of his delightful animal stories - if you would enjoy reading contact the library - 899 4962 children are welcome - you may want to bring a chair - planning rain or shine
