Aug. 25 – “All in for Barre” Community Forum

"All In for Barre" is a community forum for you to share your ideas for Barre's future. This starts a 3-month process to engage everyone in the city to brainstorm ideas and identify important priorities for the future. The Vermont Council on Rural Development will facilitate the process and help to connect to resources and technical assistance to move our priorities forward.

Come join friends and neighbors to discuss ideas in the sessions most important to you. Forum locations and topics below:

Aldrich Public Library, 6 Washington Street
2:30-4:00pm - Substance Use Disorder
4:15-5:45pm - Housing & Homelessness
7:00-8:30pm - Supporting Barre Students & Families

Barre Opera House, 6N Main Street

2:30-4:00pm - Aging in Barre
4:15-5:45pm - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
7:00-8:30pm - Recreation, Arts & Culture

Church of the Good Shepherd, 39 Washington Street
2:30-4:00pm - Transportation
4:15-5:45pm - Opportunities in the Face of Climate Change
7:00-8:30pm - Addressing Empty Buildings & Downtown Vitality

FREE Community Dinner at 6:00pm at the Elks Lodge, 10 Jefferson Street.

All are welcome. Masks and distancing are encouraged. "All in For Barre" will follow current state covid guidelines.
