September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. On 9/12, there will be a 2 mile walk/run starting at the Montpelier High School courtyard to raise money for The Jimmy Fund Clinic and Make-A-Wish-Vermont. It will also be a memorial to Peyton Smith who graduated from MHS in June 2020. Registration will be held from 10-11am, and the walk/run will begin promptly at 11am. This is not a timed event; rather a community event to remember and celebrate Peyton, as well as raise money for Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. The MHS courtyard is in the back of the school near the greenhouse. We hope you can make it, but if you cannot and wish to donate, please consider donating to The Jimmy Fund Clinic or Make-A-Wish-Vermont.
