Reminder – please save the date for the 9th Annual Winooski Operation Bloom Plant and Seed Swap. This year’s Swap will be held on Saturday, May 31st from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Richards Park in Winooski (corner of Lafountain and Dion).

Every year for the last nine years, generous Winooski gardeners have shared their donated plants and extra seeds with neighbors. If you’re a gardener who has started seeds indoors this spring, please keep some of your extra “starts” to share with others. Or if you have established flower beds and are starting to clean up your beds, please hold onto your thinnings until the Swap.

As always, this is a free community event with plants donated by gardeners throughout the city from their own gardens and seed starts, so the donations are wonderfully varied and unpredictable!
