Come join us next Saturday at 5:00 at Atkins field in Hardwick for a much-needed discussion on mental health awareness and youth suicide prevention.
This event has been put together by myself in an effort to raise awareness in this topic. Vermont continues to have a higher suicide rate than the U.S average, and it continues to grow. Now more than ever, our students need our support to better their mental health and personal wellbeing. Come listen to students, teachers, and professionals share their stories and ways we can support our community members and discuss what steps we can take towards destigmatizing these conversations as well as building a safer, more comfortable, and supportive environment for students and adults alike.
Everyone is welcome. This is a free event to the general public. There will be baked goods and refreshments by donation; all proceeds will be donated to NAMI Vermont. If you cannot attend but would like to contribute, please donate directly to NAMI VT here:
