Let's get artistic at Howling Wolf Farm and create community art to share!
Presented by The Arts Bus with guest artist Dayna Sabatino, Howling Wolf Farm will host tile-focused art projects for kids and adults to enjoy on August 14 from 12-4 pm, as part of Open Farm Week. This event is FREE thanks to the generous underwriting of The Arts Bus program and Randolph residents.
Miz Genny of The Arts Bus will lead kids in hand-painting tiles to bring home, on a rolling basis (10-12 kids per group on the bus).
Bethel stained glass and mosaic artist Dayna Sabatino will lead two classes for adults at 12 pm and 2 pm in mosaic tile for garden stepping stones. Dayna studied stained glass and mosaic art in the Bay Area of California, and has taught classes, built commissioned works, and performed large and small restorations.
Howling Wolf Farm's Jenn Colby says, "We so very excited to partner with Dayna and Genny of The Arts Bus to create the start of a community art and garden installation for guests and the public to enjoy in the future. Establishing outdoor art pieces created by and for our community exactly fits our mission of Creating Food, Family and Farm in the Heart of Vermont."
When not actively engaged in art activities, visitors can visit our sheep and pig, walk the farm, and look out at the incredible views of Randolph village.
**Please note, this is an accessible event.**
