Hi everyone. So I was really hoping to have the library host an outdoor picnic-style of it s monthly trivia to kind of close-out summer tomorrow night... but there's been a change of plans. With storms in the forecast plus new information coming from the CDC about transmission of the variant, the original plan to hold it inside in case of inclement weather doesn't feel as right as it did back when initially planning.
But, as they say, the show must go on -- so we're going to move this onto Zoom with the same start time (Thursday night at 6:30 pm). The theme will remain the same, with questions all about Vermont. Some history, some geography, some pop culture -- we will try to hit this from a bunch of angles.

I'm bummed but it feels like it will be more comfortable for everyone to go this route. It'll still be a super-sized event (five rounds!) with a few more prizes than usual, so hope you can make it.
* And hey, because I already bought a number of individually-packaged desserts in hopes of us being together outside, those treats will be available at the library during our normal hours on Thursday — mention at the front desk that you plan to join in on trivia and we can give you some to take home for when you hop on to join virtually (as supplies last).
Hope to see some of you online tomorrow night from the comforts of your homes, and I'm still optimistic that one day in the future we'll do an in-person trivia when the timing works. Stay well!
