Hello astronomers! I hope this finds you in time!
Sorry for the VERY sudden notice - but it's turning out that TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, August 11 is looking like the only really clear night for the next few days. (We could stick to the schedule, but we wouldn't see much Thursday!)
Tonight is the opening salvo for the Perseid shower, so we should see some! Come to the Northern Skies Observatory, 336 Bayley-Hazen Rd in Peacham (behind the Peacham School), park in the Peacham school lot and walk up. There will be lights on the path, so no need for flashlights!
It'll be warm and muggy, but should be mostly clear!
